CDS exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year to induct candidates to Indian Army, Navy, Air Force as an Officer.
Eligibility:
Indian Military Academy: Graduation Degree.
Indian naval Academy: B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics & Maths).
Air Force Academy: Graduation, B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics &Maths).
Officers training Academy (Men): Graduation Degree.
Officers training Academy(Women): Graduation Degree.
Age, Sex and Marital Status:
For Indian Military Academy (IMA), unmarried candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2002.
For Indian Naval Academy (IMA), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2002.
Candidates applying for Air Force Academy should be between 20 to 24 years as on July 1, 2021 (born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2001).
For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 1, 1996, and not later than July 1, 2002, are eligible for the exam.
For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course), candidates should be unmarried and born not earlier than July 1, 1996, and not later than July 1, 2002.
Important Dates:
Application Start Date: 05 Aug 20.
Application Last Date: 25 Aug 20.
Exam Date: 08 Nov 20.
Admit Card Download Date: Before 3 weeks of exam.
Result Date (Expected): In the month of Dec/Jan.
