Assam Police Recruitment 2020: Application Process started for 204 Junior assistant, Stenographer Vacancies. Application process started.
Assam Police Recruitment 2020: Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (ASLPRB) earlier released an official notification for the recruitment of candidates against 204 vacancies for the posts of junior assistant in the directorate of AP headquarters, district police cadre and also for stenographer (grade 3) of district police.
The online application process was scheduled to start on April 4 and the last date to apply was on May 4. However, due to the nationwide lockdown because of corona virus, the application process has been suspended till further notice.
But in new notification it has published and cleared that online application process again activated and last date extended till 15 Jun 20. Its a big news for Assam Candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
Junior Assistant (APHQRS / District Level):
Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University and must have a diploma in Computer.
Stenographer (Grade- III) (District Level):
Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized Institution/College affiliated from a recognized University having National Trade Certificate in stenography from ITI in Assam or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography.
Age Limit:
18 - 38 Yrs as on 01 Jan 20.
Selection Process:
1. Written Test - 50 Marks OMR Based - Duration 2 hrs.
2. Practical Test.
Subject: Logical reasoning, aptitude, History and culture of Assam and India, comprehension and general knowledge.
For Stenographer- there will be stenography test.

2. Select the post.
3. Fill in all the necessary details. Check before proceed.
4. Upload your passport size photograph, thumb impression, signature and all the documents required.
