CTET Notification 2020 : Online Correction Link Active

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is a qualifying exam to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The online application process for CTET 2020 was over on 9th March 2020. Now, CBSE has reopened the correction link for CTET 2020 application for canidates who have mistakenly filled incorrect information like date of birth, mother name, father name, email id etc. in their CTET application form can now rectify their mistakes. The last date for CTET 2020 online correction form is 26th March 2020.
No correction will be entertain after the last date of correction process.
The CTET exam is one of the major teaching examinations where lakhs of teaching aspirants appear in the hope of pursuing their dream of becoming a teacher. CTET Exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper I ( For primary Teacher: 1st to 5th std.) and Paper-II ( For Secondary Teacher: 6th to 8th std.).The reason behind implementing Exam is to maintain teaching level nationwide and benchmarks of teacher quality within the recruitment process.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2020
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
OR
Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
