Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) notified regarding the last date extended of registration for 544 vacancies of Principal, Head Master/ Head Mistresses, Block Primary Education Officer vacancies in the Department of School Education, Govt. of Punjab.The registration process has been extended from 01 Jun 20 to 22 Jun 20.

Post Details-
1. .Block Primary Education Officer - 75.
2. Principals - 158.
3.Head Master/Head Mistresses - 311.

18 - 37 year of age as on 01.01.2020
Eligibility/ Qualifications :
Principal -
1. Master’s Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Engineering in any stream with 50% marks (Gen) and 45% (reserve category) from a recognised university.
2. Teaching experience for a minimum period of three years on the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director (Means Director of Public Instructions, Punjab).
3. Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
Block Primary Education Officer-
1. Bachelor’s Degree with minimum fifty per cent (50%) marks from a recognised university.
2. Two year Elementary Teacher’s Training course/two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) /Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) from a recognised university.
3. Teaching experience of working as Primary School Teacher for a minimum period of three years in any Government School under the control of the Director (Means Director of Public Instructions, Punjab).
4. Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
Head Master/Head Mistresses-
1. Graduation with minimum fifty-five per cent (55%) marks from a recognized university with B.ed Degree.
2. Teaching experience for a minimum period of three years against the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director (Means Director of Public Instructions, Punjab).
3. Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
