SBI Clerk Exam will be conducted in two phases- Online Preliminary Exam and Online Mains Exam. Exam Pattern and Syllabus are as follows:
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern:
1. English Language - Total Que (30) - Total Marks (30) Time - 20 minutes.
2. Numerical Ability - Total Que (35) - Total Marks (35) - Time 20 minutes. 3. Reasoning- Total Que (35) - Total Marks - 35- Time 20 minutes.
Total - 100 Que - 100 Marks - 60 minute.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern:
1. General English - Total Que (40) - Total Marks (40) Time - 35 minutes.
2. Quantitative Aptitude - Total Que (50) - Total Marks (50) - Time 45 minutes. 3. Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude - Total (50) - Total Marks - 60 - Time 45 minutes.
4. General/ Financial Awareness - Total Que (50) - Total Marks (50) - Time 35 Min.
Total - 190 Que - 200 Marks - 2 hrs 40 minutes.
SBI Clerk Exam Syllabus for Preliminary Exam:
Reasoning - Puzzle and Arrangement, Inequality, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Senses,Order and Ranking.
Numerical Ability - Number Series, Simplification/Approximation, Quadratic Equation, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Miscellaneous.
English Language - Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Fillers, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Fill in the Blanks.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam Syllabus:
Quantitative Aptitude - Simplification, Number Series, Data Sufficiency, Quadratic Equation, Time & Distance, Work, Partnership, Profit & Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Percentages.
General English - Reading comprehension including Synonyms and Antonyms, Sentence rearrangement or Para jumbles, Sentence Correction/ Error Finding, Fillers, Cloze Test.
General/Financial Awareness - Current Affairs – news on banking industry, awards and honors, books and authors, latest appointments, obituaries, new schemes of central and state governments, sports, etc., Static GK - country-capital, country-currency, headquarters of financial organizations (of insurance companies), constituencies of ministers, dance forms, nuclear and thermal power stations, etc., Banking/Financial terms, Banking and Financial Awareness.
Reasoning Ability - Internet, Machine Input/Output, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Inequalities, Puzzles, Coding-Decoding, Ranking, Statement and Assumptions.
Computer Awareness - Basics of Computer: Hardware, Software, Generation of Computers, DBMS, Networking, Internet, MS Office, Input-Output Devices, Important Abbreviations
