The Army Recruitment Office, Siliguri has published a notification regarding conducting of rally for the districts of Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Alipurduar, Malda, Kalimpong, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Cooch Behar. Exact date, location and venue of rally will be confirmed later as per COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Eligibility:
Soldier General Duty -
10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Board following grading system Min of D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Soldier Technical -
10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% mks in each subject.
Soldier Technical (Aviation/ Ammunition Examiner) -
10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier Nursing Assistant -
10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all subject and 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical-
10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Soldier Tradesman -
10th Pass (Dresser, Chef, Steward, Support Staff (ER), Washermen, Painter & Decorator and Tailor).
(a) Class 10th simple pass.
(b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% marks in each subject.
Soldier Tradesman -
8 th Pass (Mess Keeper and House Keeper)
(a) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
(b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% marks in each subject.
Age:
Soldier General Duty - 17 1/2 - 21 Years.
All other post - 17 1/2 - 23 Years.
