UPPSC 2020 Recruitment - Syllabus and Exam Pattern
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the PCS notification 2020 inviting applications from eligible citizens. Main Notification available in our website naukrikaadda.in
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and willing to apply must go through the Notification and apply. Now the question is what is the syllabus for exam? If you know the syllabus then can easily prepare. In this article we provided you the comple syllabus of Pre and Mains syllabus of UPPSC.
UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Syllabus:
The preliminary exam consists of 2 papers with General Studies and CSAT consisting of a total of 400 marks.
Paper-1 – General Studies, - Total Que - 150, 200 marks, Duration - 2 Hours.
Paper-2 – General Studies II (CSAT) Qualifying in Nature, Total Que - 100, 200 marks, Duration - 2 Hours.
The preliminary exam consists of objective type Multiple choice questions.
Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination is a qualifying paper and the minimum qualifying marks are fixed at 33%.
The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.
As per previous year's cut off Candidates should have 130 out 200 to qualify in Pre.
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Syllabus:
The UPPSC PCS mains exam is descriptive in nature. You need to write the answers by a conventional method.
The subjects asked in the Mains exam are as follows:
General Hindi - 150 Marks
Essay - 150 Marks
General Studies – I- 200 Marks
General Studies – II - 200 Marks
3General Studies – III- 200 Marks
General Studies – IV - 200 Marks
Optional Subject – Paper I- 200 Marks
Optional Subject – Paper II- 200 Marks
Duration 3 hrs for each subject.
