UPSC has published the notification for NDA II 2021 on its official website. NDA Exam is conducted twice every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to select eligible candidates for admission to the elite National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. Read full news here.
Vacancies:
Total 400 vacancies out. Wing wise vacancies list as follows-
National Defence Academy - 370 to include 208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Air (including 28 for Ground Duties).
Naval Academy - 30 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).
Eligibility:
For Army Wing of National Defence Academy -
(a) 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy -
(a) 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Age:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02 Jan 2003 and not later than 01 Jan 2006 are eligible.
Physical Requirements:
They should be able to fulfill the following criteria:
(a) Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes.
(b) Skipping.
(c) Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each.
(d) Chin-ups: Minimum 08.
(e) Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters.
Important Dates:
Starting Date of Online Application - 09 Jun 21.
Closing Date of Online Application - 29 Jun 21.
Exam Date - 05 Sep 21.
