West Bengal Police Constable Preliminary Exam Pattern:


Duration- 60 Min.


Negative Marking 0.25 will be there. So you need to choose your answer carefully.


Total Marks - 100.


Subjects, Number of Questions and Marks as follows-


General Awareness & General Knowledge - 50 Que - 50 Marks.


Mathematics - 30 Que - 30 Marks.


Reasoning - 20 Que - 20 Marks.


West Bengal Police Constable Mains Exam Pattern:


Duration- 60 Min.

Simple Interest, Time and Distance, Allegation or Mixture, Surds and Indices, Simplification, Probability, Average, Volume and Surface Area, Races and Games, Chain Rule, Numbers, Stocks and Share, Partnership, Boats and Streams, Area, Logarithm, Ratio and Proportion, Permutation and Combination, Banker’s Discount, Pipes and Cistern, Problems on H.C.F and L.C.M, Height and Distance, Decimal Fraction, Square Root and Cube Root, Compound Interest, Time and Work, Problems on Ages.

Arithmetical Reasoning, Blood Relations, Number Series, Directions, Data Interpretation, Number Ranking, Statements & Arguments, Non-Verbal Series, Embedded Figures, Clocks & Calendars, Analogy, Cubes and Dice, Coding-Decoding, Decision Making, Statements & Conclusions, Syllogism, Alphabet Series, Mirror Images.

Chest - 78 cm. with a minimum expansion of 05 cms (78 cms –

83 cms).


Weight - Proportionate to Height (as per medical standards).

Height - 160 cm.


Chest - 76 cm. with a minimum expansion of 05 cms (76 cms –81 cms).


Weight - Proportionate to Height (as per

medical standards).
